Nowadays, face masks come in all forms and shapes. You can get a sheet mask in the shape of a bear’s face or a jelly mask made from seaweed, fun right? Being obsessed with all things skincare, one night, I was scrolling through a plethora of products and stumbled upon a purifying powder mask. “Huh? What’s that?” I thought. Personally, I had never heard of a mask that came in powder form so BOOM, I was hooked.
BYBI’s Detox Dust is an innovative powder face mask that you can customize to fit your skin’s needs. I thought to myself,
This is so cool, I get to make my own mask with minimal effort!
Not only did I see it as a fun way to take care of my skin, the ingredients are what really sold me. With kaolin clay and charcoal, Detox Dust pulls the toxins from your pores, getting rid of any dirt and oil that’s trapped and protects your skin from environmental stressors. Lotus, ginseng, and papaya enzymes come together, rich with antioxidants, and work to revitalize dull skin and give it a healthy and bright glow. Not only that, they also help to protect your skin from free radical damage. Lastly, oats help to gently exfoliate any dry, dead skin and prevent irritation or inflammation which is great for sensitive skin.
Now, my favorite part of using this mask is the base because that part is ALL YOU. You get to decide what ingredient brings all of it together to create the perfect mask for your skin. All you have to do is simply add a teaspoon of your favorite base to a teaspoon of Detox Dust and mix until you get a paste and voila! All done! You can keep it simple and use water or, you can go all out and try it with a different base every time whether it’s honey, yogurt, milk, floral waters, facial oil, avocado, banana, or even your existing facial cleanser. Once you’ve whipped up your mask, apply, and leave on for 10-15 minutes then rinse off.
Not only did my skin feel rid of all it’s toxins, it LOOKED like it. Where my blackheads once were, they were no more. My face felt sooo soft and had almost a matte finish to it, which I personally love. So, if you’re looking to spice things up in your skincare regimen, this mask is definitely worth a try! And, the best part is that it’s 100% all natural, vegan, and cruelty-free! 🙂 If you try it, we’d love to hear what you think!
